'Blue Bloods' Season 6 News: Full of action and reflection – Danny's family threatened while Frank Reagan reflects on how crime is affecting family
On Season 6 of "Blue Bloods", Danny will receive a scary message, possibly from a serial killer. It seems that this is "personal" and the killer has Danny and his family marked as targets. Time is running out as Danny races to find who the serial killer is. Not only will he have to investigate the case, but he has to protect his family at the same time. There is nail-biting tension throughout. The premiere episode is called "Worst Case Scenario." There is a terrorist threat to New York City and Frank Reagan, Chief of Police, has to deal with this stressful situation.
Bridget Moynahan who plays Eric Reagan was happy to be back on the sets. She spoke with the Philippine Star on how she and her co-stars are a 'family' after having worked for five years together. "You know, we live together for nine months a year, basically, working together. And we spend much time together that people have, you know, gotten sick, have gotten married, have had babies and we kinda all celebrate this different part of life together on weekly basis."
In this season, her character will be given a shot at being a judge. This may or may not lead to good things for her family.
Patriarch Frank Reagan, played by Tom Selleck, will be accused of corruption. He will become a tool of corrupt politicians and this will affect his family as they all work on the right side of the law.
A new character is entering this season of "Blue Bloods". Last month, TV Line had announced that an NYPD sergeant named Delgado will be seen as a guest star. Looks can be deceptive so viewers are warned that he is not what he seems to be. He wants to increase the accuracy in police statistics. But this may lead to unforeseen results as he resorts to tactics to earn promotions.
Esai Morales will portray NYPD Sergeant Delgado. He was earlier seen in "NYPD Blue," "The Brink" and "From Dusk to Dawn."
Season 6 of "Blue Bloods" has lots of action but also has some moments of reflection as Frank broods over how this life of controlling crime has affected his family.
"Blue Bloods" returns on September 25th with an exciting Season 6.
