'Blue Bloods' Season 7 Spoilers: Danny Deals with Fallout of Serial Killer's Death; Frank is Police Commissioner Again
Things will still not go well for Danny in "Blue Bloods" Season 7.
"Blue Bloods" Season 7 is expected to present a more personal challenge for Danny Reagan after the exciting events of last season. In the season premiere, Danny's life may be turned upside down because of a mishandled accident.
Cat-and-mouse game
In the previous season, Danny killed the serial killer Thomas Wilder after he put Danny's niece, Nicky, in danger. Although it was purely an act of self-defense, Danny's life may be turned upside down in the season premiere episode.
It will be recalled that all that happened in the episode titled 'Down the Rabbit Hole'. Thomas Wilder got into a personal cat-and-mouse game with Danny by attaching a message to his latest victim to taunt him.
Dealing with the fallout
Danny will deal with the fallout of his death-defying experience in the new season of "Blue Bloods". Michael Lewis, who is from the District Attorney's Office, will be snooping around on what really happened in the incident that involved Danny's niece.
Last season's finale titled 'Blowback' saw the public becoming outraged when a policeman, who shot and eventually killed a man, walked away scot free. This incident will also have a bearing on Danny's current case and future in the police force. It can be recalled that he, Frank, and Erin were at the receiving end of the public outcry.
In the same episode, Mayor Poole stopped Frank Reagan from resigning from his post because of guilt over Officer Haye's death. Just as he was about to go live on TV to apologize and announce his resignation, Poole was able to talk him out of it.
A love interest for Frank
Spoilers also say that Frank will reclaim his post as Police Commissioner. This development will certainly provide a plot shake-up for the coming season.
Meanwhile, Frank will be in a dilemma in the premiere when a widow asks him to stop her son from joining the police force. Her being a widow of a slain police officer might explain why she begs Frank to help her. Lori Loughlin of the "Full House" fame will guest star as Grace, the widow.
Rumors say that "Blue Bloods" Season 7 will give Frank a new love interest. He certainly deserves one, since it has been a while since he lost his wife. If ever, Frank's new relationship will be one of the highlights of the upcoming season.
Also in the premiere of "Blue Bloods" Season 7, Jamie and Eddie will rush to the scene of a car crash. They will find out that a famous public figure is behind the wheel.
