CBS has revealed the episode title and plot synopsis for "Blue Bloods" season 7 episode 17, and the newest installment titled "Shadow of a Doubt" will deal with three storylines on Friday, March 10.

As a police procedural and legal drama series, "Blue Bloods" follows the life and work of the Reagan family with the New York City Police Department (NYPD). Edit "Eddie" Marie Janko (Vanessa Ray) and Jamie Reagan (Will Estes) receive a distress call and go out to respond. They get to the call's origin and it turns out to be a woman suffering from a severe allergic reaction. Eddie and Jamie set out to save the woman and find out the source of her allergic response — whether they make it in time to save her is something to look forward to in the episode.

After a bit of investigation, Eddie and Jamie have identified the woman's onset of allergic reaction as being caused by what is supposed to be her lifesaving medication. Puzzling enough that a case of prescription error can go this far, things will only get more suspicious. The partners learn that the woman's distress call for emergency medical aid went out, but there was no response on the other end. Eddie and Jamie do some digging only to find that the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) who picked up the distress call turns out to be the woman's husband. Why would an EMT not respond to a distress call? The two officers begin to suspect that there is foul play involved in the series of events.

As all these happen, Erin Reagan (Bridget Moynahan) finds some information on the case involving a man she helped convict a few years before. These new findings, in fact, suggest that the man might be innocent of the crime. Will Erin let these new facts overturn the conviction?

Police Francis Xavier "Frank" Reagan (Tom Selleck), meanwhile, is embroiled in a public relations (PR) nightmare as his Deputy Commissioner for Public Information (DCPI), Garrett Moore, becomes the subject of a damaging exposé. Is there any truth to the allegations?

Find out on Friday 10:00 p.m. ET when "Blue Bloods" air on CBS.
