The TMZ report claims that the family wants Bobbi Kristina to enter the rehab facility to help her recovery following the massive loss of her mother last week, but are waiting till after the funeral today to speak to her about it.
Bobbi Kristina was in attendance at today's funeral, along with Houston's ex-husband Bobby Brown, who controversially left the funeral after just 20 minutes. She has been distraught at her mother's sudden passing away, and was reportedly taken to hospital multiple times in the days following news of her mother's death suffering a "complete breakdown."
Whitney Houston's death is currently rumored to have been caused by a cocktail of prescription drugs and alcohol. According to those connected with the family, Bobbi Kristina herself has struggled with substance abuse at various points over the last three years. The family wants her to seek help for this.
Houston's family are hoping Bobbi Kristina will enter a 60-day, live-in treatment facility before the problem is exacerbated. In March 2011 photos surfaced of Bobbi Kristina snorting cocaine. The photos were reportedly taken by her boyfriend at the time who said, "I've tried to stop her. But all she said was, 'I'm just like my mother!' Whitney needs to see what her daughter is doing to herself. If Krissi [Bobbi Kristina] doesn't stop soon, this addiction to cocaine will kill her."
At that time, Bobbi Kristina tweeted in defense of herself, "The pictures - a former very dear person to me did this. Set me up to make it look exactly what it looks like. God will smite them yes."
She added, "But it's really not what it looks like ... People will do anything for money which is extremely sad, and I'm very hurt by this."
She also rebuked her ex-boyfriend saying it was "a horrible relationship that went sour. I was in love - he was in love with money. I've learned my lesson."
Bobbi Kristina said that mother Whitney Houston was a great help: "My mom just comforted me to the max and I'm so thankful for her."
