Bon Jovi $42M Home: Singer Looks to Sell New York Penthouse for $18M Profit
Bon Jovi's home is up for sale for $42 million, according to reports out this week.
The "Living on a Prayer" singer is reportedly selling his penthouse apartment in New York City's SoHo area, and is looking to make a massive profit from the property.
Bon Jovi reportedly purchased the property for just $24 million in 2007, and in just six years the valuation of the property is said to have almost doubled to the $42 million figure.
The SoHo apartment is about 7,500 square foot, and comes fully furnished with five bedrooms and 5.5 baths.
The duplex is also said to have 11 foot ceilings as well as three terraces to ensure the owner gets the perfect views of the Manhattan skyline.
It has been promoted that the penthouse apartment receives extremely good natural light from its massive floor to ceiling windows, which are also said to offer the lucky owner panoramic views of New York City.
The apartment has real wood-burning fire places, as well as boasting wide-open living and dining rooms. It has been reported that almost 3,100 feet of outdoor terrace space is available in the apartment.
The Cocoran listing for Bon Jovi's apartment states: "This one-of-a-kind apartment is for the discerning buyer who can appreciate fine craftsmanship and all of the modern conveniences."
The apartment is located on the top floor of the New Museum's 158 Mercer Street building, between Prince and Houston Streets.
