'Bones' Season 10 News: Booth and Brennan to Deal with Aftermath of His Incarceration

"Bones" is well on its way to premiering its tenth season, and everyone who's involved in the show did not hesitate to jump back in for the upcoming season, according to executive producer Stephen Nathan.

The show runner shared a lot of spoilers at last month's Comic-Con in San Diego, and a great deal of information was revealed, particularly about Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan's (Emily Deschanel) dealing with what happened at the end of season nine.

The ninth season of "Bones" ended with Booth and Brennan's home being riddled with gunfire and Booth being framed and falsely accused of murdering three federal agents. He was then sentenced to jail.

According to Nathan, season 10 will pick up where it left off, and there will be huge ramifications, both physically and emotionally.

"Here are two characters who spent the last seven or eight years coming together as a couple and here they are being torn apart. It's yet another test of the strength of their relationship," said the show runner.

Cartermatt reports that the season will start off with Brennan trying to find a way to prove Booth's innocence. Here is the show's official synopsis:

"Season 10 will begin with Brennan and the squints desperately trying to get Booth out of jail, clear his name, and absolve him of crimes he did not commit. They know the only way to do this is to finish what Booth started and uncover who is behind the conspiracy at the FBI. Throughout this ordeal, Brennan and Booth both will wrestle with the decisions they made on their biggest case yet—decisions that will test their relationship, as well as their careers."

"Bones" Season 10 will premiere on Thursday, Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.
