'Bones' Season 11 Midseason Finale Spoilers: Couple Goes Undercover

The hit series "Bones" will be presenting a two-part finale that will bring some fan favorite characters into action.

The executive producer of the series, Michael Peterson, was able to share some details for the upcoming finale, as reported by TV Guide. It was reported that the finale will bring a surprising death to one of the characters. With that, it can be expected that a regular character will be faced with heartbreak. However, there has yet to be more information on who will be seeing their end in the upcoming episode.

Meanwhile, Peterson also explained some details about what to expect from Brennan and Booth in the episode to come. The two will be seen going undercover to do some investigating. With that, Peterson teased that the couple will have different feelings regarding their upcoming undercover mission.

He said, "She's like, 'This is a waste of time. You just want to wear a silly cowboy hat and guns.' She doesn't believe that it's actually necessary for the case, so she doesn't join him initially."

The synopsis for the episode reads, "To solve a murder, Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz) go undercover at an Old West-style shooting competition, while Angela Montenegro (Michaela Conlin) and Jack Hodgins (T.J, Thyne) discuss the future of their family and Camille Saroyan (Tamara Taylor) gets close with photographer Sebastian Kohl (guest star Gil Darnell). Then, the team investigates the murder of a police officer that sends shockwaves through both the Jeffersonian and FBI teams."

It was said that Sara Rue will also be a guest star in the upcoming season. She will be taking on the role of Leslie Green, a behavioral analyst. It was said that she will be helping Booth with the investigation. She will use her professional assessments to find out who is responsible for the upcoming crime.

Titled "The Cowboy in the Contest," the upcoming episode is expected to air on CBS this Dec. 10.
