'Bones' Season 11 Premiere Spoilers, Plot News Update: Booth goes missing

There was more news on the upcoming season of "Bone" that reveal Booth and Brennan returning to the Jeffersonian Institution.

The previous season ended with the couple, played by David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel, deciding to give up their crime-fighting careers in order to start a new life. However, it was reported that while the season will start off with Booth and Brennan settled in their new life with their son and safe job position, trouble will follow the couple.

The premiere is expected to bring drama into their lives when Booth suddenly goes missing. It was reported that the team will recruit an FBI special agent named Grace Miller, who will be played by Kim Raver. She will star in the first two episodes and will guide the team with the investigation of Booth's case, as reported by TV Line. With that, events will inevitable lead the couple back to the Jeffersonian Institution. Unfortunately, Brennan's job was already taken by someone else.

The showrunner of the series spoke about the upcoming season and what is in store.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Michael Peterson said, "Arastoo is the main intern who has taken over. He's really filled in for Brennan in her absence. Eventually Brennan will come back, but what that means for Cam and Arastoo is very interesting."

In addition, it was also stated that Booth will be presented a new challenge in the upcoming season, which will be focused on a family crisis.

He stated, "It's a very personal reason. It's a family reason. He gets involved in something that's very close to home and is probably the only thing that would pull him away from the tranquil life that he was leading up until that moment."

"Bones" Season 11 will premiere on Oct. 1.
