'Bones' Season 11 Spoilers: Booth and Brennan Return to Jeffersonian, Couple's Relationship to Reignite

The two-part season premiere of "Bones" is done and fans who were able to catch it know that the two main characters, Brennan (Emily Deschannel) and Booth (David Boreanaz), will be back on track in solving cases in the third episode.

According to Design & Trend, episode three will be titled "The Donor in the Drink" and will show Booth and Brennan back in Jeffersonian Institution. They will encounter "something fishy" as they try to uncover the truth regarding human remains that were found in a fish farm. In the promo, it showed Hodgins (T.J. Thyne) informing the team that a carnivorous species of fish known as the rainbow trout have ingested the murder victim. He will try to remove the pieces of evidences inside the fish's body.

As they try to investigate the case, Booth will be trying to readjust with his new position at the FBI. His new boss is Aubrey (John Boyd) and aside from the position, Booth's old office is now his as well. TVLine reported that new co-showrunner Michael Peterson revealed Aubrey's ambition of wanting to move up in the FBI. Luckily though, Booth does not have the same thinking. But with their differences, a tension between the two will most likely happen later on.

In other news, production is going to shake things up with Booth and Brennan's relationship in Season 11. The previous season showed the two having a stale affair and it's mainly because of the developing stories going deeper and deeper. But in the coming all-new episodes, fans will see a reignited flame in the couple's relationship.

As Peterson stated, "It's happier in the bigger sense of we're not doing the gambling, getting-kicked-out-of-the-house [story] — at least not yet. But what we're doing is making sure that they still have the fire."

This is a good thing because fans have always loved the chemistry of the two and Peterson is aware of that. He intends to keep it as one of the main attractions of the show so fans can expect things in Booth and Brennan's relationship to be interesting.

"Bones" airs on Thursdays on FOX, 8 p.m. ET/PT.
