'Bones' Season 12 Episode 7: Brennan Deals With Family Emergency
Brennan (Emily Deschanel) will struggle with some hurdles concerning her family in the upcoming episode of "Bones."
In the episode titled "The Scare in the Score," the synopsis (according to CarterMatt) reveals that Brennan will discover a secret her father, Max (Ryan O'Neal), has been keeping. It seems like the old man is about to undergo a serious medical procedure, but he does not want his daughter to know. However, the truth will eventually be revealed, and it will have a major effect on Brennan. She will start to question what kind of relationship she and her father have that he does not trust her enough to share information with.
Aside from her problem with her dad, Brennan will also be worried about her husband. It has been previously revealed that someone from Booth's (David Boreanaz) past is coming after him. Last episode, a close friend of the couple was killed. The culprit was the son of a Bosnian warlord whom Booth killed many years ago. The man is out for revenge and the FBI agent is his next target.

The promo shows Brennan agonizing over Booth's safety. The killer is back and he is prepared to torture people to get Booth's attention.
The joint forces of the FBI and the Jeffersonian will be tapped to investigate a series of murders around Washington, D.C. All of the victims will be found to have a connection with Booth's former army unit. Booth knows he will be next and is preparing for the worst.
In the teaser, someone is warning him that the last victim was tortured for information. This means the killer knows exactly where Booth is. In the final seconds of the clip, Brennan is shown staring at an ambulance. Someone has been shot and her expression suggests it is her husband.
"Bones" season 12 airs on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST on Fox.
