'Bones' Season 12 Episode 8 Spoilers: Dr. Wyatt Returns, Convinces Booth and Brennan to Try Demolition Derby
The team goes undercover in a demolition derby in the next episode of "Bones." And what could Dr. Wyatt (Stephen Fry) be doing back at the Jeffersonian?
In episode 8, Sully (Eddie McClintock) came by to check on Brennan (Emily Deschanel) after her father's death. For some reason, Brennan felt more comfortable opening up to him than her own husband, Booth (David Boreanaz). This almost threw a wedge into Brennan and Booth's marriage. But as it turned out, both Brennan and Sully have already moved on from their past and are now happy with their current partners. Booth never had anything to worry about in the first place.
The upcoming episode 9 titled "The Steel in the Wheels" will usher in another familiar face when the ongoing attempt to prove Zack's (Eric Millegan) innocence hits a snag. Fan-favorite forensic psychiatrist Dr. Wyatt swoops right in to lend a hand to Hodgins (T.J. Thyne) and Cam's (Tamara Taylor) efforts. Will they finally find something that Brennan can use to get Zack out of jail? Or will they end up discovering something that ends up incriminating Zack even more?

The episode will also feature Booth, Brennan, and Aubrey (John Boyd) gearing up in trashy disguises to solve the murder of a young man in a hay baler accident. They find themselves at a rowdy demolition derby competition, wherein drivers ram their vehicles into each other until only one vehicle remains functional and is declared the winner.
Could the alleged hay baler accident have been a motorsport accident all along? Or is the victim's death a deliberate act of violence and anger for a competitor?
The official promo for the episode reveals that the disguised Booth and Brennan will also try to find some therapeutic pleasure by participating in the derby themselves, which Dr. Wyatt suggests they do.
"Bones" season 12 episode 9 airs in two weeks on Tuesday, March 7, at 9:00 p.m. EST on FOX.
