Borussia Dortmund vs Manchester City Live Stream Free Football: Watch Online Champions League Soccer

Borussia Dortmund vs Manchester City takes place on Tuesday in the Champions League with the English side already eliminated following a poor group stage campaign, where as the German champions have already qualified for the knock out stages but will want to win to secure the top spot in the group, giving them potentially an easier fixture in the next round. The game kicks off at 2.45 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

Manchester City will be without midfielder David Silva, who has not traveled to Germany with the squad and is out with a hamstring injury. City will also miss Yaya Toure, who is suspended.

It has also been reported that Silva could miss this upcoming weekend's clash with Manchester rivals, Manchester United at the Ethihad Stadium. That would be a huge blow to the Blues, who will see that as one of the biggest games of their season.

City come into the game with just three draws and two defeats, after failing to win any of their five group games – something that has drawn huge criticism to the Blues. They sit bottom of Group D, which had been touted as the Group of Death – containing league champions from Germany, Spain, England and Holland.

Many have said that City's inexperience at playing on the European stage is showing, however, after winning the English Premier League last season many had expected a better showing from the Blues. But for the second year running they will exit the competition at the group stages.

They of course will want to win this game to make sure they record at least one win in the competition this year, and also will need to win if they are to claim a position in the Europa League for finishing third in the group.

But that may not be easy as Real Madrid have also guaranteed this spot in the next round prior to these last round of matches, and they do not need a result from their match against Ajax – potentially meaning Jose Mourinho will choose to rest key players. If Ajax win that game against Real then City's European quest this season is over.

Blues boss Roberto Mancini has said ahead of the game, "We will try, but we need to win in Dortmund and it will not be easy because Dortmund are in a good condition. There is the Premier League, and the Europa League if we can go in it, and also the FA Cup. The season is long and it is important."

He added, "We played very well at Chelsea [where they drew 1-1] and didn't win. We played well in the second half at Wigan [a 2-0 victory]. We are in good form at the moment."

Dortmund come into this game having drawn with Bayern Munich at the weekend 1-1.
