Justin Bieber released his new single entitled "Boyfriend" on iTunes early Monday and the song is already receiving widespread applause for its new and mature sound.

The lyrics begin with a short rap, "If I was your boyfriend I'd never let you go, I can take you places you never been before," Bieber says before singing "I can be a gentleman, anything you want."
"Boyfriend, my first single, was really fun to make, I was in the studio with Mike Posner. When I was writing the raps for it and the versus I was just thinking about things that I would do if I was your boyfriend," Bieber said in a video posted on his website.
