Brad Pitt Meets Wedding Planner in France Ahead of Angelina Jolie Nuptials?
Brad Pitt reportedly touched down in France on Wednesday to meet with a wedding planner ahead of his nuptials to his fiancee, Angelina Jolie.
The "World War Z" actor, 49, and Jolie, 38, will reportedly wed at their $60 million dollar southern France estate. Construction at the 35-bedroom French Château Miraval was recently completed and wedding plans are allegedly being finalized.
"The rumor around town is that Brad and Angelina will finally have their wedding. Local shops have been contacted for some supplies and they finally finished construction on their property," a source told X17 Online. "It looks like it could really happen this time."
Jolie and Pitt, who have been together for seven years, confirmed their engagement in April. The couple previously vowed to wed only after the legalization of same-sex marriage. In June the U.S. Supreme Court struck down a key provision of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), ultimately ruling that same-sex couples who are legally married in a state may receive federal benefits.
A source now claims the couple, who share six children, will wed before family and friends in an intimate ceremony at their French estate.
"It's a place that they all absolutely adore. With the vineyards and the gorgeous wide-open spaces, they will really be able to create a dream wedding, right on their own property," a source previously told OK! Magazine regarding the French property.
In May Jolie, who recently underwent a double mastectomy, reportedly told friends that she and the "World War Z" actor would get married soon particularly because their children are eager to watch them tie the knot.
"Angie is keen on a wedding and the kids are clamoring for a marriage and keep asking Brad and Angie when it's happening," a source told the Daily Mail. "Brad has been caught up in production turmoil with his new film World War Z, so there's been no wedding planning as a result, but Angie has said it will happen sooner rather than later."
The wedding will mark Jolie's third marriage and Pitt's second.
