Brad Pitt Wedding Under 'Pressure From the Kids'
Brad Pitt has spoken up about his upcoming nuptials to Angelina Jolie in an interview with E! News this week.
While promoting his new film "Killing Them Softly," the 48-year-old actor admitted that his legions of fans were not the only people anxiously anticipating his wedding.
"We're getting a lot of pressure from the kids," said Pitt, referring to himself and fiancée Jolie. "We didn't realize how much it meant to them and then, in getting engaged, how much it also means to us."
His answer added to the many rumors surrounding the upcoming wedding. In the past, it was reported that Pitt and Jolie planned on marrying on their property in France, the 35-bedroom Chateau Miraval.
"Brad and Angie have kept this quiet, and they're talking about how and when to announce it," revealed a source close to the couple to OK! magazine.
"It's a place that they all absolutely adore," they added. "With the vineyards and the gorgeous wide-open spaces, the will really be able to create a dream wedding, right on their own property."
The couple share Maddox, 10, Pax, 8, Zahara, 7, Shiloh, 5, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 3.
Pitt and Jolie, 37, have been together since 2005 and announced their engagement last April.
"Yes, it's confirmed," said Pitt's representative speaking to CNN. "Is it a promise for the future, and their kids are very happy. There's no date set at this time. Brad designed the ring."
It will be Pitt's second marriage; he split from Jennifer Aniston after five years of marriage in 2005. Alternately, the marriage will be Jolie's third.
Meanwhile, as rumors continue to swirl about the details of his wedding, Pitt is preparing for the release of the crime thriller "Killing Them Softly."
The Andrew Dominik-directed film is based of George V. Higgins' 1974 crime novel "Cogan's Trade," and is set to hit theaters on Nov. 30.
