Brandi Glanville Lands Spin-Off Show About Dating Life? 'She's Really Excited'
"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Brandi Glanville is reportedly in talks about starring in her very own spin-off show.
The single mom, 40, is reportedly excited after discussing the idea of her very own reality TV show with Bravo TV executives. The spin-off show would reportedly focus on Glanville's dating life and her quest to find love again following her 2010 divorce from actor Eddie Cibrian.
"Brandi will be taping a pilot for Bravo and it's for her own spin-off show," a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com.
"She was kind of shocked when the idea was brought up, but now she's really excited about it," the source revealed. "Putting your dating life on TV for the world to see is never easy, but Brandi's never backed down from a challenge."
In 2009 the mother-of-two was left heartbroken when Cibrian, who she was married to for 10-years, admittedly had an extramarital affair with troubled singer LeAnn Rimes. The reality TV star is now said to be ready to re-enter the dating scene and Bravo executives are reportedly convinced that the spin-off will be a ratings winner.
"You never know with Brandi. So you can have an angle for a show but how it plays out may be a very different thing," the source said. "She's ready to jump back into the dating scene and it will be interesting to see what kind of men can actually handle her!"
The spin-off news comes five months after Glanville became recognized as a New York Times bestselling author due to the success of her book "Drinking and Tweeting: And Other Brandi Blunders."
The book details Glanville's failed marriage to Cibrian and his infamous affair with Rimes. She previously expressed her delight in its success via Twitter.
"Ok I'm crying! I'm a New York Times best selling author! I'm crying like a baby. Thank u thank u thank u!" Glanville tweeted Wednesday.
