Brandy Norwood Says 'God Has Created' Fiance Ryan Press for Her
Brandy Norwood, 33-year-old R&B singer, became engaged to music executive Ryan Press recently and admitted that she almost gave up on love before finding the man she feels God created for her.
Norwood spoke with PopStopTV on New Year's Eve and explained why the recent engagement meant so much to her.
"At one point I gave up on love, so to have this feeling and for it to be like the first time, with the person that I feel like God has created for me to be with, it feels magical," Norwood told PopStopTV. "And I want it to stay like this so every married couple that we have been meeting over our vacation, I've been asking them, 'So what's the secret?' They've been giving me a lot of great tips. Communication is the key, clearly, so we'll see what this thing does."

Although Norwood admitted that she had an idea that Press would ask her to be his wife, she still felt surprised when the moment actually came.
"It was a surprise but I felt something was gonna happen. It was definitely a surprise," Norwood told PopStopTV. "Your imagination does the actual moment no justice."
The singer recalled the actual moment when her future husband popped the question to her.
"I said, 'Oh my God!' so many times that I forgot to say 'Yes,'" Norwood recalled. "He was like, 'Yeah, are you gonna marry me or not?' It was good."
Norwood has been public about her desire to marry Press in the past, speaking to Sister2Sister magazine about the possibility of an engagement last August.
"I keep hearing about a ring. People keep calling me, hinting to me about it, but I don't know," Norwood told the publication. "I'm going to be patient and let it happen and just let it be...I guess it will happen when it's the right time. Keep your fingers crossed for sometime soon I will be engaged."
Now that the moment finally happened, Norwood is not hiding her enthusiasm.
"I'm very happy," Norwood told PopStopTV "I'm definitely on Cloud 20."
