'Breath Of The Wild' Weapons Gameplay Guide: How to Repair Damaged Items
Surviving the brutality of the Hyrule wilderness is possible for players of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" as long as they have the right combination of weapons and strategy.
Nintendo's action-adventure video game is currently considered one of the most difficult installments in the series. Many gamers lament the fact that the hero dies fast because his sword or bow gets damaged easily. In actuality, compared to the clubs and rapiers in the original game, the weapons available in the series are already reasonable. According to RPG Site, surviving for much longer in the game will be a breeze, especially when one is prepared to experiment.
In choosing one's arsenal, a player must always look at the descriptions provided. They contain hints as to how hardwearing a specific weapon is. Sacrificing some hearts is necessary to get more durable pieces. For example, high-end locations like Hyrule Castle contain more enemies, but they are also treasure troves of powerful weapons.
Stocking up early on is the key. A player must learn to avoid direct combat if necessary. Brilliant usage of the enemy camp's metal boxes will mean preserving the weapons. One can use magenesis or other environmental hazards to kill adversaries instead.
Repairing weapons is also possible, according to Mic. The Octoroks are said to have the power to fix damaged swords and other pieces. During a fight, the balloon-looking enemies will suck up the weapons and spit them out once they are defeated. They will reportedly come out good as new. Even the rust is eliminated. Octoroks are usually found near Oren Bridge close to Zora's Domain.
If a player has no opportunities to repair weapons, it is best to choose the unbreakable ones like the Master Sword and Hylian Shield. It is important to note, though, that the Master Sword's power is not infinite. It still needs to be recharged.
