'Breath of the Wild' Ruta Walkthrough: Locate the Five Terminals to Reach the Boss

Gamers who have reached the Vah Ruta dungeon and want to conquer the boss, Waterblight Ganon, need to follow this guide to succeed in their quest.

According to VG24/7, gliding inside the unforgiving dungeon and defeating the fearsome beast within will be easy as long as the gamerfollows some certain steps. A player's goal in Vah Ruta is simple – activate the five terminals hidden inside the chamber. Since they are placed in strategic locations and not readily accessible, a good strategy is the key to winning. The Sheikah Slate in the player's possession is his weapon to survive. Once inside the dungeon, finding the map is imperative. It is located at the main room - the door first pointed out by the computer upon breaching the place. One can raise and open the door by using Cryonis.

After securing the map, the next task of the gamer is to activate the five terminals. The first one is in the main entrance room. The clues are the cogs. If turned clockwise using the Magnesis Rune, the players can raise the platform. Inside is another dais. By using the Sheikah Slate, the first terminal can be raised.

The second terminal is found upstairs via the side door ramp. Between the two water wheels there, the smaller is the correct one. Using Cryonis will freeze the water and stops the cog from moving.

Terminal 3 is a bit tricky. The player must head towards the other side of the room and another flight of stairs. A number of enemies are waiting there via the portal in the Ganon corruption. The spawner must be killed first to manage the adversaries. Upstairs is a locked gate and a stationary water wheel. This is the time to use the map screen. Once the position of the trunk is adjusted, the water must pour so the player can ride the wheel all the way to the top. There, the third platform is waiting. A shortcut waterfall will materialize after the switched is pressed. The player can use this to swim up with the Zora armor.

Once cleared, the player is on top of Ruta's body. The player must go inside a hole. After shooting a corruption eye, a mechanism will be released to open a hole in the ceiling. Grabbing this will be possible with the help of the Magnesis rune. The fourth terminal is at the Ruta's sunroof, but it is on fire. Once extinguished, the platform can be used.

The last terminal can be found on the side of Vah Ruta's trunk, but it is only accessible if fully raised. Landing and balancing on the trunk is the key. After this, the player is now face to face with the dungeon boss.

According to iDigital Times, killing the boss, the Waterblight Ganon, will net a player Mipha's Grace, something that will become handy in restoring full health. A Lightscale Trident may also be procured. One only needs to chat with King Doerephan in the throne room and collect the prize from the chest.
