Britney Spears Nails 'X-Factor' With Bloody Start? (VIDEO)
Britney Spears has finally been announced officially as the new "X-Factor" judge. The pop star appeared on the red carpet Tuesday night when the news was announced, nervously biting her nails.
Reports have stated that Britney Spears will be making $15 million off of her new "X-Factor" deal, which will put the star in the judge's seat. The new role will be a switch up for the pop star that is constantly being judged herself. Some doubt that Spears will be ready to handle being live on television.
Spears has done very few interviews ever since her meltdown marriage with Kevin Federline and now she will have to appear on television live for hours at a time. That idea has some viewers worried, although Simon Cowell, fellow judge and show producer, has stated that he is not worried at all.

Whether Cowell is nervous or not, it appears that Spears is. While on the red carpet in New York Tuesday night, the star unveiled a tight news dress and bloody, worn down nails. Spears has revealed in the past that she has the bad habit of biting down her nails when she gets nervous, and by the look of her nails she was more than just a little timid.
"I have to learn to stop biting my nails! I would like to stop worrying so much, because I worry all the time," the star said in 2008 as part of a New Year's resolution proposition.
Demi Lovato will be the second new judge, which could be equally as worrying. The star has been in and out of rehab for the past few years, dealing with an eating disorder and drug usage.
If the judge's paychecks reflect how much faith Cowell has in each of them, the figures suggest that he is very worried about Lovato -- more so than Spears. The former Disney star will only be making $1 million off of her "X-Factor" deal, a whopping $14 million less than Spears.
