Brooke Mueller Arrested for Cocaine Possession and Assault
Brooke Mueller, 34, was arrested for assault and cocaine possession over the weekend at a Colorado nightclub.
The former spouse of erratic funny man Charlie Sheen was reportedly involved in an altercation with another bar patron.
According to Fox 31 in Denver, at about 11:30 p.m., Aspen Police officers were conducting a routine walkthrough at the Belly Up nightclub on Galena Street when, according police, a woman approached officers to report an assault in which Mueller was the aggressor.
Police found Mueller at Escobar at another local watering hole nearby a short while later.
She was charged with a misdemeanor for third degree assault. Upon her arrest, police discovered approximately four grams of cocaine. Mueller was then charged with a class-four felony for possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. She posted $11,000 bond and was released.
She is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 19.
In her relationship with Sheen, which was well documented by the entertainment media at large, the couple had a rocky relationship that involved their twin boys.
In 2009, Mueller called 911 from her Aspen home to report that her then-husband, Charlie Sheen, was armed with a knife and threatened bodily harm.
Sheen was arrested in Aspen on Christmas morning for allegedly beating Mueller, whom he married in 2008. She was his third wife and was reported to be intoxicated at the time.
Mueller previously entered drug rehabilitation for cocaine use. Sheen filed for divorce from Mueller in February. As Part of their renegotiated custody agreement, both are required to pass drug tests, according to media reports.
It was unclear who had custody of their sons, Bob and Max, at the time Mueller was arrested.
