Bryce Dallas Howard of 'The Help' Has a Baby Girl
Bryce Dallas Howard, best known for her role as Hilly Holbrook in the critically acclaimed film, "The Help," welcomed a baby girl on Thursday.
"Beatrice Jean Howard-Gabel. Born Jan 19 2012, 8 pounds 6 ounces, Bryce & Baby B are spectacular. Daddy Seth & brother Theo are beaming ear to ear :-)," Howard's father, Academy Award winning director/producer, Ron Howard, confirmed via twitter on Saturday.
"Beatrice's arrival is hugely exciting for our family. Thanks for all the kind tweets folks," Poppa Howard added.
Beatrice is Bryce Dallas Howard's second child with her actor husband, Seth Gabel.
After the pair has their first child, a son, in 2007, Howard suffered from postpartum depression.
"I felt I was failing at breast feeding. My house was a mess. I believed I was a terrible dog owner. I was certain I was an awful actress," the "Twilight" actress explained in 2010 on fellow actress Gwyneth Paltrow's blog.
"Do I wish I had never endured postpartum depression? Absolutely," Howard, 30, said. "I feel deep gratitude for those who stood by me, for the lesson that we must never be afraid to ask for help."
