Buy a Galaxy S3 Mini and Get a Free Galaxy Tab 2 7.0
The U.K. retailer Carphone Warehouse is running a new promotion where when customers purchase a Galaxy S3 Mini, they receive a free Galaxy Tab 2 7.0.
These customers will have the ability to receive the smaller tablet with absolutely no strings attached when they buy the mini version of the 2012 flagship.
Plans for the Galaxy S3 Mini start at £22 a month on the U.K. carrier O2 and it costs a bit more if purchased through Orange of Vodafone. The device features a 4-inch display and runs on a dual-core processor with 1GB RAM with a 5-megapixel camera. It also runs Android 4.1.2, JellyBean and could be upgraded to 4.2 in the near future.
The Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 is an impressive device with an HD display. Receiving it for free is a great deal. Samsung seems to want to unload the device as it is prepping to launch its successor sometime this year.
The Galaxy S3 Mini recently launched in new colors in the U.K.
The device now comes in a white variant called La Fleur that features flower decals on the side; it will also come in the classic Garnet Red. The popular retailer known as Carphone Warehouse began offering the two variants recently.
The new versions of the Galaxy S3 Mini will cost £269.99, which is equivalent to $410.84 without a contract.
It appears that a Samsung Galaxy S4 mini model is also on the way as a picture of the device leaked onto Twitter last week. The picture also made its way to Samsung's website.
SamMobile reports that the Galaxy S4 Mini will feature a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD 960 x 540 display with a pixel density of 256 ppi. It will also come with a 1.6GHz dual-core processor and will run Android 4.2.2, JellyBean. The Galaxy S4 Mini will be released sometime in June or July.
