Calgary Flames vs. Anaheim Ducks Live Stream: Watch NHL Hockey Online
Pacific Division rivals meet at Scotiabank Saddledome in the NHL as the Calgary Flames host the Anaheim Ducks. Both teams are coming off loses so expect them to try and bounce back in a big way.
The Flames had a three-game win streak snapped after an penalty shootout loss to the Ottawa Senators a few night ago.
Calgary dug themselves into a deep hole as they went down 4-0 against the Senators heading into the final period, but their perseverance paid off as they scored four times in the last period to level the score and salvage a point, before eventually losing on penalties.
The loss brings them to 77 points, third place in the division behind the Ducks and the Vancouver Canucks.
For the Ducks, they suffered back to back losses after falling to the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Canucks.
Before those defeats, Anaheim were riding a four-game win streak.
Their most recent loss to the Canucks, another division rival, came from a Zack Kassian wrister in the last four minutes of the contest. Anaheim were able to tie the score at 1-1 within the first 10 minutes of the last period but failed to defend properly, resulting in the loss.
And in the loss, they surrendered the top spot in the Western Conference to Nashville Predators, and the gap between them and the St. Louis Blues has been cut to four.
This will be the fifth and final meeting between the Ducks and Flames in the regular season, with Anaheim leading the season series 3-1.
Their last meeting in Calgary resulted in a 6-3 win for the Ducks, with Andrew Cogliano spear-heading a comeback after falling 2-0 in the second period to the Flames.
Five straight goals gave them the 5-2 lead before eventually ending the match with a 59th-minute goal from Hampus Lindholm.
With Anaheim in a slump and Calgary looking to capitalize, it should be an intense match between the two teams. For live updates, visit NHL.com.
