Calgary Flames vs Vancouver Canucks Live Stream: Watch NHL Playoffs 2015 Online
Vancouver are looking to extend the series to a deciding Game 7.
Trying to prevent a deciding Game 7, the Calgary Flames host the Vancouver Canucks at Scotiabank Sadledome in Game 6 of the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs.
The match is on April 25, 2015 at 9:00 PM ET.
Calgary have cruised through the Canucks so far in this series as they built a 3-1 lead. In those three wins, they scored at least two goals in every game and their only loss so far was a 4-1 win at Vancouver.
Heading into the fifth game of the series, they were looking to eliminate the Canucks and secure their place in the next round of the competition.
It looked to be that way early on in the match as they drew first blood after a goal from David Jones after being assisted by Matt Stajan in less than three minutes in the match.
Vancouver, facing elimination, were not fazed and continued to put the pressure on the Flames as they were desperately seeking to extend their playoff lives. They dominated the shots on goal but only found the breakthrough in the 34th minute of the match with Nick Bonino's goal to tie the score 1-1.
From there, it was anyone's game to win but the Canucks were the ones to find the winning goal as Daniel Sedin snaked through the Calgary defense to score in the 42nd minute to give them the lead.
Vancouver would then stifle the offensive flow of Calgary with physical plays as they prevented the young squad to score any more goals to cut the series deficit to just one game.
Now away from home, the Canucks will need to get this win in Calgary to force a Game 7 at home to get a chance to complete their series comeback.
