California Wildfire News: Fire Continues to Grow; Mandatory Evacuations Ordered in Affected Areas
The number of deaths caused by the ongoing massive wildfire in California has already reached 21, with around 170,000 acres of land burned. Due to the immensity of the devastation and the risk posed by the fire, the government has already ordered evacuations throughout all of Napa County.
As of Wednesday morning, a red flag fire warning has already been issued for the gusty winds that will hit the affected areas on Wednesday and Thursday. The winds have already caused the new wildfire to spread across the region.
A report issued Wednesday morning stated that at least 22 wildfires were burning as of the time, blackening approximately 170,000 acres of land and wreaking havoc to up to 3,000 homes and commercial establishments. According to reports, the area most affected by the destruction is the northern edge of Santa Rosa.

On Tuesday morning, it was reported that hundreds had already gone missing due to the wildfire, which had previously spread to Marin County. While new fires have already started in Marin County, smoke and ash have continued to envelop San Francisco, with around 90,000 residents in the North Bay not having power.
Several residential areas in Santa Rosa and nearby cities were issued mandatory evacuation notices. Some of these include the Rincon Valley, from north of Montecito Boulevard to the eastern city limits, and the Oakmont area.
Since the wildfire started on the afternoon of Monday, the blazes have already spread throughout Northern California, particularly Napa, Sonoma, Solano, Lake, Nevada, Butte, Calaveras, Shasta, and Yuba. This has prompted officials to order mandatory evacuations, with some deputies even banging on doors and asking people to get out of their houses quickly.
The current wildfire is the deadliest in California in the last 14 years.
