Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare News: Trailer Released, Game Requirements Revealed

Developer Sledgehammer Games has just launched the official trailer for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare two weeks before its release date. The trailer features "House of Cards" lead actor Kevin Spacey, and contains glowing reviews for the game.

Forbes says that the new COD "transcends the line between game and film," while Gamespot claims that it is "reinventing Call of Duty multiplayer in a profound way." The trailer shows a war-torn U.S. as Atlas prepares to fight the KVA.

On Wednesday, Sledgehammer confirmed to Gamerant that the game will support dedicated servers.

"We've got some announcements coming. Yes, we will be supporting dedicated servers and there will be announcements soon on which providers and platforms. I can't answer just yet, but you can let your community know that it's coming," the developer said.

With only a few days before the official launch, more information about the game has started pouring in, particularly with regards to PC and gaming console requirements. Joystiq reported that the minimum PC requirements for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare call for 6GB RAM and 55GB of hard drive space, while gamers using the PlayStation 4 need 42.6GB space, and the Xbox One will require 48GB of space.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be released on Nov. 4, 2014 for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4, but those who order ahead of the launch date can get it from Best Buy, GameStop, Amazon and Target for only $59.99. Those who pre-order can also get the Day Zero edition at no extra charge, which will give one access to 24-hour early access on Nov. 3, two custom weapons, and a custom exoskeleton among other freebies.
