'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3' Eclipse DLC: Spire Map, New Zombie Chapter Shown off in Latest Trailers
Developer Treyarch and publisher Activision have been busy this week, releasing sneak peeks at the content of its forthcoming "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" Eclipse DLC. The latest series of videos feature the new map Spire and another trailer of the game's zombie saga.
Zetsubou No Shima
The new zombie chapter, titled "Zetsubou No Shima," continues the events of Der Eisendrache, which was included in the previous Awakening DLC. "Zetsubou No Shima" features familiar faces from "Origins" who are stranded on a remote island in the Pacific Ocean. The island is home to a secret biological research laboratory and will provide players with new enemies.

Spire Map
Treyarch recently released its preview trailer for Spire, one of the four maps that's included in the upcoming Eclipse DLC. Spire is described as a "futuristic sub-orbital airport terminal, complete with multiple levels and a sleek, streamlined design."
Previously, the game's Rift map was shown off in a trailer. Rift is a military complex located on top of an active volcano. The map will require players to develop a strategy to deal with enemies in close-quarter engagements in tight spaces.
Prior to this, the Verge map was showcased in a video that was released a few days before the Rift map preview trailer. Verge is a re-imagining of the classic "Banzai" map. Verge is basically a wasteland that becomes the center of a post-apocalyptic battle for survival. Players will be part of a faction that will try to take control of the area and the remaining water supply. Bridges, fortresses, tunnel systems, and waterfalls will all play major roles in achieving this goal.
In addition to these three, the "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" Eclipse DLC also includes Knockout. The last map should be showcased in its own trailers soon.
"Call of Duty: Black Ops III" Eclipse DLC includes these four maps plus the new zombie chapter. The new expansion pack will be available on April 19 for PlayStation 4 owners first.
