'Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare' News: Additional Prestige Ranks, New Mission Team Now Live in the Game

20 additional Prestige Ranks brought to 'Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare' by latest update

New features have made their way into "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" and they should provide players with additional goals to chase after.

The first of these new features is an additional Mission Team.

Detailed in a new post on the Activision Blog, players now have an opportunity to join the Mission Team known as Blood Anvil.

Led by Commander Viktor Krushkin, players will quickly find that joining Blood Anvil is no easy task as they will be subjected to rigorous trials designed to test their mettle.

If players are somehow able to meet the high standards of Commander Krushkin, they can then expect to obtain some of the items given to members of Blood Anvil, including the weapon known as Oni-Tengu, the Krushkin's Will accessory and the Blood Dipped camo.

Even if "Infinite Warfare" players are able to successfully join Blood Anvil, that does not mean that they are out of challenges to take on, especially with 20 new Prestige Ranks added to the game.

Specifically, 20 new Master Prestige Ranks will become accessible to players after they reach Prestige Level 10.

Unlocking each new Master Prestige Rank also allows players to claim some special rewards including a new Emblem, Rank Icon and Permanent Unlock Token.

Other bonuses related to weapons and challenges can also be obtained by continually progressing through the new Master Prestige Ranks.

One more new feature coming to "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" is the Emblem Editor, according to the update notes posted over on Reddit.

Additional fixes are also included in the update, including ones designed to make party and weapon level up indicators work better inside the game.

The latest update also brings some needed fixes for the different maps.

More news about other updates and additional features that will be released for "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" should be made available in the near future.
