'Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare' News: Update 1.10 Now Available, New Weapons Also Released Recently
Headsman Axe, R-VN Assault Rifle among new weapons recently added to 'Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare'
Quite a few new additions were recently released for "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" via Update 1.10, including some gameplay changes and weapons.
Starting off with the gameplay changes, players should find that deaths and kills work slightly different inside the game now, thanks to the update.
As indicated in the update notes posted over on the r/InfiniteWarfare Subreddit, players can now experience simultaneous deaths and kills. These simultaneous deaths and kills can happen whenever two players with low health using ballistic or energy weapons fire at each other at the same time. The result of this will be both players dying.
Players who become part of a simultaneous death/kill will receive a medal known as Trade, according to the developers.
Also included in Update 1.10 is a new feature that will enable players to use four taunts. 360 Rig rotation has also been added to the game via this latest update.
Notably, Update 1.10 also brought some new weapons to "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" and developers detailed these further in a recent post on the Activision Games blog.
Among the new weapons is the Headsman Axe that can serve as an alternative, secondary melee weapon. Beyond its obvious ability to deal heavy damage, the Headsman Axe can also be thrown at opponents and it also provides a little movement speed bump, so players wielding it can become even deadlier inside the game.
Also new to the game is the energy-based R-VN Assault Rifle. This rifle can also be quickly turned into a melee weapon, and even when it is used this way, it can prove to be quite damaging.
Season pass owners will be able to access the R-VN Assault Rifle right away. Those who don't have the season pass will have to work for it first by getting 200 kills while using a different energy-based assault rifle that also comes with an accessory players acquired through weapon prestige.
More news about the other additions coming to "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" should be made available soon.
