'Call of Duty: WWII' News: PS4 Owners Can Complete Special 'Quests' to Obtain Game-Related Rewards

'Quests' can be completed until Nov. 8

"Call of Duty: WWII" is already set to land next week. And ahead of the big release, developers are giving fans opportunities to obtain some items that can get their PlayStation 4 units ready.

The PlayStation Live page was updated just recently, and it now prominently features the upcoming game.

As fans can see, there is a countdown there, some links, as well as a little window that details the "quests" players can take on.

Now, these are not the conventional quests players may know that involve them accomplishing certain tasks inside a game. Rather, these "quests" are just about getting some PS4 owners to watch some pre-release videos.

The first "quest" players can take on requires them to watch the story trailer for the game. Once they have viewed the aforementioned trailer, they will then be given a code to use so that they can redeem a dynamic PS4 theme.

Developers have uploaded a preview of the theme that comes with some redesigned icons and new sounds. The dynamic "Call of Duty: WWII" theme is being given away for free.

Another "quest" that PS4 owners can complete involves them watching the "Meet the Squad: Turner" video, and upon doing so, they will be given a code that grants them access to the free Lieutenant Turner avatar.

PS4 owners have to be 17 years old and above with a PSN account if they want to try out the "quests." These will remain available until Nov. 8 or until supplies last.

Fans were also reminded to log in to their PSN accounts before they go ahead with the "quests."

It also seems like there may be additional rewards coming in the next few days, so fans may want to check back for those.

First-person shooting game fans will not have to wait that much longer for "Call of Duty: WWII" as it is coming out on Nov. 3.
