Camacho Funeral Brawl: Champion Boxer's Girlfriends and Sisters in Mass Brawl
A Camacho funeral brawl has plunged the memorial service of the former world champion boxer into controversy. Hector "Macho" Camacho, who was shot on Nov. 20 and died three days later, led a flamboyant lifestyle when he was alive, and it seems that even in his death there was as much controversy.
Camacho, who died aged 50, had the second day of a viewing of his body held on Tuesday in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. However, the day which was meant to be solemn and a time of remembrance, was thrust into chaos as a fight broke out between a woman who claimed to be his last girlfriend, his ex-girlfriend, and his sisters.
The fight was sparked when 28 year old Cynthia Castillo, who was dressed in a pink T-shirt with Camacho's face pictured on the front, learned over to kiss the boxer on the mouth as he lay in an open casket.

After that she reportedly walked towards the family's reserved area, and was caught up in a confrontation with his ex-girlfriend, Gloria Fernandez, who is 50 years old, and the boxer's sisters.
Castillo said, according to the Associated Press: "I am the actual girlfriend of Macho, and those who don't like it better not bring it. They shouldn't be going after me. They should be thanking me for being with him at all times."
Castillo claims that she was told to leave the funeral by Fernandez and Camacho's sisters, Esther and Estrella. She told ESPN Deportes: "I went to get something to eat because Machito (Hector Camacho Jr.) told me to, and (Fernandez) came up to me and told me that I had to leave. I said no, so they threw my plate of food and attacked me, and I defended myself."
What ensued involved slapping, punching and clawing, as the women fought together, with the altercation only finally stopping when police broke it up.
Camacho's body has now been flown to New York and there will be another viewing and the funeral on Saturday at 9 a.m. ET. The burial will take place at Saint Raymond's Cemetery in the Bronx.
