Candace Cameron Bure received a huge round of applause from fans during her appearance on "Dancing With the Stars" after speaking about her Christian faith. The "DWTS" competitor has been very vocal about her faith and the impact it has on her dancing and life.

"I'm a Christian," Bure said before performing the rumba with partner Mark Ballas. "My life revolves around my relationship with Jesus Christ, so with the overall tone of the dance and the costumes, I'm not going to take a backseat. My voice will definitely be heard."

"The entire crowd in the ballroom cheered and clapped really loudly," an audience member told Us Weekly.

Of course, Bure had a quick response when Ballas said he may perform shirtless.

"Not without my permission!" Bure interjected. "No, I have to think about that. This rumba is not a sexual dance. It's a sensual, emotional dance. Sensual is more sexy than raunchy sex so I think this is going to be a beautiful dance."

She and Ballas then went on to perform their interpretation of the rumba to great applause and reaction from the crowd and judges. Fans have been eager to see Bure compete and bring her own, faithful, more modest, style to the sometimes flamboyant show. Bure previously spoke about the importance of remaining true to herself and her faith when it comes to the costumes.

"The two most important things in my life are my faith and my family and I know that is what is going to get me through this competition," she previously said during a clip on "DWTS." "I'm not gonna be your sexy girl, I'm a mom of three kids so I want to look good and feel beautiful, but I will probably stay on the more modest end of costuming."

"I think for each dance we'll wear what reflects the dance but in the most classy way possible," she later told Us Weekly. "I want to represent all the moms out there and inspire them and encourage them."
