Not all hope is gone though as there are people who are working to make it happen. Blastr reported that producers Chris Lark and Eleni Larchanidou are making together a highlight reel for their version of a "Captain Britain" series that they will propose to Marvel Television sometime in 2017. As it turns out, the rumors is nothing more but a pitch to the entertainment company.

Lark also confirmed their plans via his official Twitter account wherein he revealed that they are currently in the very early stages of their project. Aside from that, he mentioned McAvoy in a different tweet saying his gratitude for her help with the series.

Captain Britain or Brian Braddock is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. After obtaining his superpowers from the Magical Merlyn, he has been going around making sure that the laws of Britain are being followed.
