'Carmageddon: Max Damage' Coming to Xbox One, PS4 & PC; Features Over 30 Cars, Online Multiplayer

Gory vehicular combat video game "Carmageddon: Max Damage" is going to hit consoles and PC soon this year. According to a report by Shack News, the game will be made available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. And just recently, it has been announced that the game by Stainless Games will also be having a PC version as well.

The good news is that those who purchased the first game "Carmageddon: Reincarnation" on Steam and those who helped in the funding through Kickstart will be getting a copy of "Max Damage" for free once it is released. Digital Trends detailed that the upcoming new title of the series is an upgraded version of the "Carmageddon: Reincarnation" which came to life by Kickstarter for Windows PC in 2015.

Those who are looking forward to playing the video game with the traditional car-wrecking, pedestrian-murdering gameplay can expect to see some upgrades including new vehicles, playable arenas and gameplay objectives.

The press release found on Stainless Game's website reads: "Set in a world of over-the-top violence, crazy PowerUps and non-stop laughs, you play against a bunch of complete crazies in twisted automotive killing machines whose aim is purely to maim you. It's the racing game where racing is for wimps."

It then detailed the features that will be coming along with game. There will be over 30 cool custom killing machines or cars, 10 large open environments, career mode with six different event types and online multiplayer with four online event types. There will also be over 90 crazy PowerUps, complex car damage and repair system. Aside from that, there will be a large number of moving targets to hunt down to gain points, like pedestrians in wheelchairs and mobility scooters, aliens, bears and cyclists.

There's also going to be an action replay mode that will let players relive their action-packed run through. There is no specific date yet on when the game might arrive but it's expected to this year so gamers who are looking forward for it will have to stay tuned for more updates.
