Casey Anthony Mocked by 'Dunking Booth' at Fair
A Casey Anthony-themed “dunking booth” is being featured at a Kentucky Fair this year.
With the hope of soothing disgruntled trial-watchers frustrated with the recent acquittal of Casey Anthony, the Lexington Lions Club Bluegrass Fair has added a full size dunking booth where people can send an impersonator of the Florida mom into a dunk tank.
According to video footage from WKYT-TV, a young woman is dressed up like Anthony. She is shown wearing a long brown wig tied back into a ponytail, a bright pink T-shirt, and jeans; similar to the outfit Anthony wore when she walked out of jail.
In the video, the impersonator sits on a seat suspended over the dunk tank and spits venom to fair-goers who have the option to choose whether to aim their balls at a guilty or innocent target.
“We’re hoping that it’s taken in a fun way so that people coming out can release some of their frustrations about what just happened in the last few months and they can show their opinion,” said Fair Organizer Michael Kaplan.
“I wanna see some real men, I’ve been in prison too long,” the Anthony impersonator says to one ball-thrower before plunging into a pool of water, according to Fox News.
She taunted another, “You think I’m guilty?”
Casey Anthony was acquitted for the murder of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee, and was released from jail on July 17. Although the Anthony trial has ended, the outcome of the case remains a hot topic for many.
