Casey Anthony Unemployed and Drinking, Says Probation Officer
Casey Anthony is unemployed, drinking alcohol and not going to class, a probation office report has today revealed.
The 25-year-old, who is on probation for check fraud, reported to her probation officer on Monday.
The Florida mother told the officer that she is still unemployed, has no income whatsoever and has drunk alcohol in the last month, but not in excess.
Anthony fled from Orlando on a private plane and flew to Ohio when she was freed from jail on July 17.
However, she was ordered to return weeks later to serve one year's probation on check fraud charges, unrelated to her murder trial.
26-year-old Casey Anthony has reported to her probation officer on Monday that she has no job, no income, and has drunk alcohol in the last month. Anthony is currently serving a year’s probation for a separate check fraud conviction.
She is required to report to Florida Department of Corrections officers once a month as part of her probation. Her probation officer said she has not violated any rules.
On July 5, Casey Anthony was acquitted of murdering her daughter Caylee, whose remains were found in the woods near her home in Dec 2008. She is in Florida but her exact whereabouts are not known due to the widespread anger of the public towards her not guilty verdict. She has received death threats since her release.
Last month, Anthony was reported to be taking photography classes and learning a foreign language. “She would love to go out to meet friends and do public things but she knows she can’t,” a source told People.
Another source told the magazine, “There are people out there who would like nothing more than to beat her up - or worse.”
Anthony has been described as “one of the most hated women in America” by a Department of Corrections spokesman.
