Casting Crowns Calls Fans to 'The Well' With New Album
Casting Crowns is back with their new album Come to the Well.
Billboard magazine’s top-selling Christian act for the past four years makes a joyful noise with their title track “Courageous," which promotes the boldness of Christians with outstanding guitar play, smooth drums and lyrics that sing loudly for courage. The song also has a great tempo for praise and worship.
An outstanding display of lyrics is found throughout the song as the lead singer begins with, “We were made to be courageous/we were made to lead the way/We could be the generation that finally breaks the chains/We were made to be courageous/we were made to be courageous.”
The album blends praise and worship with relaxing mixes of joy on tracks, such as “The Well” and “Wedding Day."
“The Well” exhibits persuasive lyrics and moving words, even during the prelude, when the song calls listeners to “leave it all behind.” Deep meaning continues in the chorus, which says “And all who thirst will thirst no more/and all who search will find what their souls long for/The world will try, but it can never fill/so leave it all behind and come to the well.”
