Platinum-selling worship band Casting Crowns will be joined by critically acclaimed singer/songwriter Nichole Nordeman for the spring leg of their successful Lifesong Tour.
The tour which will also feature new artist Josh Bates and speaker Tony Nolan is scheduled to run from Feb. 9 through May 7, hit 46 markets across the nation, and come in support of Casting Crowns Grammy-nominated and RIAA certified Gold sophomore release Lifesong, which debuted at No. 9 on Billboards Top 200 album chart in November.
Casting Crowns played almost 40 dates during the fall leg of the Lifesong Tour, which featured Nolan and rock group Building 429, performing to nearly 150,000 fans in what Shane Quick from Real Life Promotions calls much more than a concert.
To call the Casting Crowns Lifesong Tour just a concert would be an injustice, said Quick in a statement released by Reunion Records. It was so much more than that. I feel like Im a step closer to God because of it. The only thing that shines brighter than Casting Crowns amazing music is their love for Jesus Christ and his lost people. I believe Casting Crowns has set the standard for how a Christian concert should be.
