'Castle' Season 8 Episode 7 – The Beginning Of The Reunion Of Rick & Kate
In the upcoming seventh episode of "Castle" Season 8, Rick Castle is planning a surprise for his wife, Kate Beckett, for their first anniversary while Kate is contemplating divorce. How will Rick's plan of wooing his wife back go?
This season has been a bit traumatic for "Castle" fans as they had to see Rick and Kate get separated. It started right at the beginning of the season with Kate Beckett becoming Captain and going undercover for a mission which she did not tell Rick.
Fans have not received their separation well and this season did veer away from the series' drama plus procedural format.

With two episodes remaining before "Castle" takes a break and comes back in February, the creators could be setting up the stage for bringing Rick and Kate together again.
In the previous episodes, Rick has attempted to win back Kate. In this episode titled, "The Last Seduction," he goes all out to get her back. This time, he has taken Slaughter's advice to heart. He has decorated a party place and is ready with confettis and banners proclaiming 'Happy Anniversary.' Little does he know that she is in a despondent mood and is thinking of a divorce.
The promo reveals all is not so grim. It has plenty of comic moments. Rick calls Kate up and tells her it is their anniversary. Kate has got an I-am-melting expression on her face.
But Kate has to solve a case. A seductive con woman gets murdered and Kate has to go undercover. She goes to a social club which the con woman frequented and goes to the club's locker room to investigate, wearing only a towel. Soon after, Kate is shown rushing out.
Rick, Esposito and Ryan all "jump" in to be her partner to help her with the case.
As per the plan, Rick is all set when something upsets him and his hand-wringing brings down the celebratory banner. He is covered in confetti, which is hilarious.
