Channing Tatum's Weight Described As 'Fappy'

Channing Tatum recently appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" where he explained what life is like for he and his wife Jenna Dewan Tatum today.

The actor married his "Step Up" co-star in 2009, and the pair welcomed their first child, a daughter, back in May. Ever since, Tatum has been wrapping up several recent projects and adjusting to blissfully happy life at home with Dewan and their baby, Everly.

"Right now, what me and my wife like to call it- I am very fappy," the actor told Ellen DeGeneres during this appearance on Thursday.

"You're fappy," DeGeneres inquired.

"I'm very fat and happy right now," Tatum replied. "I've been working for two straight years and now it's some really needed downtime.

It comes as no surprise that Tatum is currently "fappy." The 33-year-old actor has previously admitted that he is "a fat kind on the inside" while speaking to Cosmopolitan magazine last year.

"I love food so much and I fluctuate about 25 to 30 pounds between movies," the actor explained. "I feel like I have to do a chess movie that requires very little movement at some point, just so I can eat pizza and play chess on the beach all day… and then eat more pizza and cheeseburgers and drink better. That's be amazing. I'd give anything for that; I gotta figure that movie out."

Nevertheless, Tatum is a proud dad whose wife described him as "amazing" with baby Everly.

"He's so sensitive," the 32-year-old actress told Ellen DeGeneres during her own appearance on the show last October. "He's like this really strong big guy in life but you give him this little baby and he's like, 'Oh my God… Is she going to drop? Is everything OK?' He's like the most amazing diaper changer."

Tatum will appear in several movies this year, including in a voice role on "The Lego Movie," "22 Jump Street," "Jupiter Ascending" alongside Mila Kunis, and "The Book of Life."
