Two teams with similar records meet at the Time Warner Cable Arena as the Boston Celtics travel to face the Charlotte Hornets in the regular season of the National Basketball Association.

These are two teams in the middle of the Eastern Conference as they try to make it to the playoffs despite not being regarded as one of the premier squads in the league.

At the moment, they are doing fairly well as the Hornets are at 15-12 and fourth in the Southeast Division. The Atlanta Hawks are the current leaders in the division, while the Miami Heat and Orlando Magic are ahead of the Hornets at the moment.
Meanwhile, the Celtics are at 15-13 and second in the Atlantic Division. They are trying to keep the New York Knicks at bay as well as trying to catch current division leaders the Toronto Raptors who are 18-12 so far this season.
This is the second of three total meetings between the two teams, with their first match also played at the Time Warner Cable Arena.
In that match, it was an exciting contest that resulted in a 98-93 win for the Celtics thanks to a great performance by Isaiah Thomas.
The game was tight for the most part, with Charlotte leading by one at the end of the first quarter and extending their lead by halftime to four points.
However, the Celtics began to charge in the third quarter and eventually scored 35 points to take a four-point lead entering the fourth quarter.
They would sustain the lead by the final stretch and win 98-93.
Thomas was great as he scored 21 points but also distributed the ball well with 13 assists to get the victory.
Nicolas Batum scored 21 points and grabbed eight boards for the Hornets. The team is now hoping for another big game from him as they try to avenge their earlier defeat.
