Chelsea Clinton Endorses Hillary for President 2016

Chelsea Clinton endorsed her mother, Hillary, for a 2016 Presidential run, even though she has not formally announced any intentions to run. Clinton spoke about the need to have high-profile women in leadership positions.

"We need women who are at the head of a boardroom, like at the head of the White House, at the head of major scientific enterprises so that little girls everywhere can then think, you know what? I can do that. I want to do that. I will do that," the younger Clinton told MSNBC's Alex Wagner.

"She's my mom. I'm just unabashedly, unapologetically biased towards her because I think she's just awesome in every way," Clinton told CNN. "She exemplifies and supports and advocates for so much of what I believe in."

Hillary has yet to declare whether or not she will run for president in 2016, and there has been a great deal of debate surrounding the run. She recently joined the social world of Twitter, which created a great deal of excitement and fueled speculation with the short description of her life.

"Wife, mom, lawyer, women & kids advocate, FLOAR, FLOTUS, US Senator, SecState, author, dog owner, hair icon, pantsuit aficionado, glass ceiling cracker, TBD…" the elder Clinton posted.

"She still treats them all [her tweets] with this like a great kind of… you know, so much thought goes into them. I think that's so sweet, as her daughter, because everything that she's ever done in her life has been so deliberate and intentional and full of so much energy and effort," Chelsea told Wagner. "But I hope she can also relax a little bit and enjoy the cadence of Twitter, of… just responding to things."

Now it appears that Hillary is enjoying her short time on Twitter. She posted her first "selfie" with daughter Chelsea to Twitter. The entire Clinton family was in Chicago for a two-day meeting for the Clinton Global Initiative.
