Chicago Bears vs Minnesota Vikings Live Stream: Watch NFL 2014 Football Online (Fox TV Schedule, Playoff Picture Preview)
The Chicago Bears go on the road to face the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday as both teams wrap up their NFL seasons with nothing but pride to play for. The game will start at 1 p.m. ET and takes place from the TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The game will be shown on TV on the Fox network or online through live stream (details below).
The Vikings come into this final game of the season on 6-9, where as the Chicago Bears are even worse with just 5-10.
The Bears have announced that Jimmy Clausen will miss this season finale following his concussion. That means that Jay Cutler may be given one final opportunity to impress before his position is reviewed by the powers that be.
This season Cutler is 347 of 525 for 3,640 yards and 28 touchdowns. Opposite him today will be Teddy Bridgewater who is 242 of 377 for 2,710 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Coming into the final week of the regular season, all but two Playoff places have already been secured. However, those that have already secured their postseason berth still have a lot to play for, with all but one current Playoff team still having something to play for this weekend in the NFL.
The New England Patriots are the only team that has nothing to play for this Sunday; they have already guaranteed themselves the AFC East title as well as securing a first round bye and home field advantage throughout the postseason.
Even the Indianapolis Colts, who appear to have nothing much to play for, can still technically gain some advantage from winning today. If they defeat the Tennessee Titans, and the Cincinnati Bengals and the Pittsburgh Steelers play out a tie, then they could secure the number 3 seed placing.
The Denver Broncos also still have something to play for - they have not yet secured the number 2 seeding in the AFC. They will want to win today, because if they lose to the Oakland Raiders, and the Bengals defeat the Steelers then the Bengals would steal the No. 2 seed spot, dumping the Broncos into the first round of the Playoffs. Most expect the Broncos to defeat the lowly Raiders though, and if they do that then they are guaranteed the second seeding and the first round bye for the Playoffs that comes with it.
In the NFC meanwhile, there are no seed placements guaranteed yet coming into the final weekend of the regular season. There are still four teams in the race for the number 1 seed, and five teams are vying for the number 2 seed.
The Dallas Cowboys could gain the top seed placing if things go their way today, and at the very worst they would have to settle for a number 3 seeding.
The number 4 seed will be between the Carolina Panthers and the Atlanta Falcons. The pair of course will be playing one another today in a winner takes all match up.
The Seattle Seahawks are favorites to take the number 1 seed, and they will do so with a win over the St Louis Rams. However, if they fail to gain the win they need then the door opens for the Cowboys, Arizona Cardinals, Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers.
The Chicago Bears and the Minnesota Vikings will start the game at 1 p.m. ET and the game can be watched on TV on the Fox network or online through live stream by clicking here.
