At the moment, the Bulls are at 11-6 and second in the Central Division behind the Cleveland Cavaliers. They are also coming off a loss at home to the Charlotte Hornets and are trying to bounce back by giving the Suns a loss.
On the other hand, the Suns are on a four-game losing streak as they are steadily falling off the Pacific Division and are third in the group at the moment.
They are trying to break their losing streak and avenge their earlier loss to the Bulls in this meeting in Illinois.
When the first two teams met in Arizona, the Bulls started off hot early as they scored 31 points in the first quarter while stopping the Suns from reaching 20.
The Suns tried furiously to mount a comeback in the next two quarters and the game was close by the end of the fourth quarter but their run fell short as the Bulls regained their composure and went on another 31 point quarter to seal the 103-97 victory.
In the match, Jimmy Butler was phenomenal for the Bulls as he finished with 32 points and six rebounds while playing almost 43 minutes.
The absence of Derrick Rose was filed in by Kirk Hinrich who had 14 points and only missed one of his seven attempts from the field.
For Phoenix, Eric Bledsoe had 21 points, six rebounds and seven assists, but only three players contributed in the game as they fell short.
