At the moment, the Bulls are doing relatively okay this season as they are second in the Central Division and behind the defending Eastern Conference champions, the Cleveland Cavaliers.

On the other hand, the Wizards are clearly struggling this season and are below the .500 mark as the middle of the season approaches.
They find themselves last in the Southeast Division and are a few games behind current leaders, the Atlanta Hawks.
While the group is still relatively closely challenged by the four teams, being last is not what the Wizards had in mind as they have a solid core of players led by the star point guard John Wall and sharpshooter Bradley Beal.
However, this has not automatically translated to wins as the Wizards have found it difficult to beat some of the better squads in the league so far.
This presents a big challenge for Washington as they face Chicago but a big win should be a good feather on their cap and a psychological advantage heading into their other two meetings.
