'Chicago Fire' Season 4 Episode 8 Spoilers: Chief Boden Confronts Maddox In Hopes To Clear His Name

Things are about to get even more intense as the fourth season of NBC's hit action drama TV series "Chicago Fire" continues to roll out this week with an episode that will further show the trouble going on inside Firehouse 51.

Titled "When Tortoises Fly," the report from Carter Matt said that viewers will see Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) still in deep trouble as he strives to get his old position back and clears his name from the controversy he is currently entangled with.

The synopsis shared by the media outlet pointed out that the station chief will be forced to confront Maddox (guest star Mark Hengst) whom he believes is behind Serena's (Ilfenesh Hadera) terrible accusations from the last episode. It has been revealed that the statement from Boden's new female neighbor is intended to stain the chief's credibility before the approaching court trial.

Will Boden be able to get hold of the truth from Maddox? If he did get what he wanted from the person, will it help him in the upcoming trial?

Adding more pressure to the situation, Capt. Patterson (guest star Brian White) will question Boden's ability to retain his position at the fire department.

But it won't be all hailstorm and rain for Boden. As hinted in the summary, his colleagues in the force will be there to extend their help. For one, there's Severide (Taylor Kinney) who will reach out to Maddox's lawyer, Jamie (Rachel Nichols), in an effort to find out more about the case that his boss is currently facing. Will he be able to get the needed information to improve Boden's defense?

Meanwhile, the rest of the forces will tackle a problem that involves a man who was found unconscious in a garden. Brett (Kara Killmer) and Chili (Dora Madison) will suspect that this incident could be linked to a crash report that they were previously called for.

Otis (Yuriy Sardarov), on his part, will realize that he's already doing too much work and has forgotten about himself. He decides to go out for a change. But unfortunate moments are about to hit him as his plans get interrupted.

"Chicago Fire" Season 4 airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on NBC.
