'Chicago Fire' Season 5 Episode 15 Spoilers: 'Fire' Kicks Off Three-Way Crossover Event; Will Olinsky Lose a Daughter?

Now that Firehouse 51 is back together again and Severide (Taylor Kinney) is not going anywhere, a brand new challenge awaits Chief Boden's (Eamonn Walker) team in the next episode of "Chicago Fire." The upcoming episode will also be ushering the newest addition to the "Chicago" lineup.

A harrowing firestorm is about to break out in Chicago, which will in turn bring together the brave men and women of Districts 51 and 21, as well as the emergency department staff of the Gaffney Chicago Medical Center in a massive all-city response. The "Chicago" three-way crossover is happening in one night in back-to-back-to-back episodes that will eventually lead to the premiere of the legal drama series "Chicago Justice."

"Chicago Fire" opens the event with the episode "Deathrap," wherein a massive fire at an old, ill-equipped factory-turned workspace endangers the lives of many, including the daughter of Senior Detective Olinsky (Elias Koteas) from District 21's Intelligence Unit.

Although the crossover does not officially feature "Chicago Med," the emergency department staff of Gaffney will still be shown across the three linked shows as they deal with the influx of patients brought to their care.

In the aftermath of the fire, the owner of the building steps up to aid in the ongoing investigations, but the situation will eventually lead to an unexpected turn. "Chicago P.D." will then take over in the following hour to track down the suspect while Olinsky's daughter remains in critical condition.

Who is responsible for the fire? And will Olinsky's daughter survive her injuries? The synopsis for "Chicago Justice" does not seem very promising. After the debacle and with the suspect now in custody, assistant state attorney Stone (Philip Winchester) and his team, along with senior detective-turned lead investigator Dawson (Jon Seda), step in to try and bring peace to the families and friends of those who lost their lives to the fire. Unfortunately, this will also include someone very close to home.

The three-way crossover happens on Wednesday, March 1, on NBC, starting with "Chicago Fire" at 8 p.m. EST, then leading up to "Chicago P.D." and "Chicago Justice" in the next two hours.
