'Chicago PD' Season 4 Episode 14: Rixton Makes a Wrong Move?

Rixton (guest star Nick Wechsler) will once again be under speculation in the upcoming episode of "Chicago P.D."

In the episode titled "Seven Indictments," the synopsis reveals that both Lindsay (Sophia Bush) and Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) will feel that there is something wrong with the new recruit. They will reportedly receive "an odd warning" about Rixton and it will make them question his honesty to the team. What kind of mistake will he commit?

Rixton was part of Voight's (Jason Beghe) old gang before he joined the unit. The latter drew some flak with his decision and for good reason. Rixton's record is not clean. For all Voight knows, he may still be working for the gang and using their connection for personal gains.

Voight has a soft spot for Rixton because he sees himself in the younger man. Rixton was his protégée, a loyal pupil who has big dreams, just like him. Although the others have already expressed their concern about Rixton's addition to the team, Voight stuck to his decision and let the chips fall where they may. Even Burgess (Marina Squerciati), who has been recently promoted to intel, is uncomfortable with Rixton around.

In a recent interview, Squerciati said her character does not like Rixton substituting for ex-boyfriend Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger), who is currently doing undercover work.

"I knew that right away — she does not like Rixton. It's like your boyfriend or ex-fiance's place was taken over by someone. It's not his fault, but she does not like this character. That's clear to me. Whenever there isn't anything written in, I just give Rixton a dirty look. That's how I make it work," the actress told CarterMatt.

Meanwhile, the next case for the squad will involve a charred body. As the investigation progresses, the detectives will start to realize that there is more to the case than meets the eye. For one, they cannot identify who the victim is. The one they thought to have perished in the fire will turn up alive and well in headquarters a couple of days after the incident.

"Chicago P.D." season 4 airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. EST on NBC.
