'Chicago PD' Season 4 Episode 17 Spoilers: Lindsay Discovers Halstead's Secret
Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) has been keeping a huge secret from Lindsay (Sophia Bush) in the upcoming episode of "Chicago P.D."
In the episode titled "Remember the Devil," the synopsis (according to CarterMatt) reveals that "Lindstead" will be facing a huge hurdle in their relationship. Lindsay will find out that there is something that her boyfriend is not telling her. Halstead's ex-girlfriend will arrive in Chicago and she wants to meet up with him. The news that he was in a relationship when he and Lindsay broke up in the past will surprise everyone. Halstead has kept the secret well. Perhaps, he was counting on the fact that Lindsay would not find out about it, since the chances of the two women meeting were slim.
Executive producer Matt Olmstead talked to Entertainment Weekly about the awkward situation. He hinted that Halstead's lie by omission would put their relationship at risk.

Trust has always been an issue for the couple. When Lindsay and Halstead broke up because of the department's rules on not dating co-workers, she was hurt when he did not fight for her. Lindsay suffered from depression and it took a while before she was back on her feet again. Voight (Jason Beghe) was sorry to see his surrogate daughter suffering so much, but his hands were tied.
"A past 'undisclosed' relationship of Halstead's comes back into the picture, putting his relationship with Lindsay on the rocks," the EP teased in the EW interview.
Meanwhile, the episode will also see the unit tackling an enigma. Intel will receive a report on a woman running barefoot in the woods. When Voight and his men search the place, they will find something else entirely. A shipping container is abandoned in the wilderness. What is more troubling is that there is a human trapped inside. Further probing reveals that she is a kidnapping victim. Voight can sense that something is a little off on the case. They appear to be missing an important link.
"Chicago P.D." season 4 episode 17 will air on Wednesday, March 22, at 10 p.m. EDT on NBC.
